The Grundy Art Gallery, Queen Street, Blackpool
Kathy will be taking part in this annual exhibition, which demonstrates the wide range of artwork being produced throughout Blackpool and the Fylde Coast today. The exhibition aims to showcase a wide range of media, from painting, drawing, photography and sculpture.
The gallery is open from Tuesday to Saturdays, 10am to 4.45pm, with last admission to the gallery at 4.30pm. There is wheelchair access to all ground floor galleries.

International Women's Day Exhibition at HIVE Arts,
The Alternative Gallery, above Hive Urban Farm Shop/Cafe
Kathy is delighted to be part of this exhibition which celebrates Women and their achievements. She has entered three artworks into the exhibition, the first is a short animated film about the prehistoric 'Venus' Goddess figures. These figures are all shapes and sizes and the animation celebrates the female form. The second is a paper sculpture of an ancient cave/womb like structure. This was inspired by the discovery that the earliest artworks known to humankind were handprints created by Palaeolithic women, not men as we were all told in our schooldays! If you look inside the cave you will find tiny handprints.... Her third piece is a dramatic painting which features a pregnant Goddess, symbolizing the Divine Feminine as a Goddess of growth and abundance. She represents the creative powers which all women have, at every stage of their lives. Some express that creativity by giving birth to children and caring for them. Others express their creativity through artwork, teaching, building, protecting and caring for the planet. In fact the possibilities for expressing creativity are endless!
Other artists will be showing work inspired by 'Women representing Women' 'Role Reversal' 'Women in History' 'Education and Technology' 'The Female Goddess'. Work has been invited as photographs, paintings, sculpture, prints, drawings and textiles too!

Exhibition at The Solaris Centre, Blackpool
Kathy is proud to be exhibiting her work at the sunny Solaris Centre on the Promenade in Blackpool.
The Solaris is easy to find (opposite the mirrorball on the promenade) and there is a small carpark plus on-street parking nearby. There is also very good access at this venue, and a cafe on site.
I do hope some of you can drop by, checkout the art and treat yourself to something nice from the cafe or exhibition - whatever takes your fancy!

Pagan Federation North West Conference, Grasshoppers Rugby Club, Tanterton, Preston.
Kathy will be leading a workshop about Numerology at this yearly Pagan Event.
She will also have a stall selling some of her unique Art cards, original paintings and prints. Something for every budget.

July 8th - July 19th 2024 - Exhibition at Poulton Library, Blackpool
Kathy will be returning to Poulton Library (for only two weeks) which is next door to Booths Supermarket. There is a large carpark nearby and good access at this venue, The gallery space is on the ground floor.
The library is open on Saturdays and Tuesdays from 9 - 1pm. It is closed on Sundays. It's open Monday, Thursday and Fridays from 9 - 5pm. It stays open later on Wednesdays till 7pm.
The cafe next door (upstairs in Booths) has a great selection of snacks and meals and is highly recommended!
