Born in Blackpool, England, Kathy became involved in the art world later in life than most. She began in her 50s, working as a life model for artists and photographers.

In 2018 Kathy applied to Blackpool School of Art to study for a BA Hons degree in Fine Art. Whilst studying she won the Mary Elizabeth Barrow Award for excellence in Art and Design. She was also nominated for the prestigious, Creative Lancashire Industry Award.

Her dissertation 'An Exploration into the Earliest Known Example of Figurative Art; the Palaeolithic Sculpture Known as ‘The Venus of Hohle Fels’ from a Goddess Feminist Perspective' was selected as exemplary for future students. She graduated in 2021, with a First class Degree in Fine Arts and Professional Practice.

Whilst studying for her degree, Kathy began exhibiting her work and joined the HIVE collective of local artists.

Her work has been shown in a variety of venues around the North West, and she has been featured in the magazine ' 'Witchcraft and Wicca' which is produced by  'The Children of Artemis'.
