A peep inside my sketchbook...

It's always difficult starting a new sketchbook, with the perfect white page in front of you. But satisfying too, like stepping out into a snowy landscape and seeing your footprints in the snow! Here's how I like to start things off at the beginning of a new project. I find it focusses my mind at the start and gives me something to refer back if (when!) I find myself wandering away from my original plans.
